Golden Globes hair and beauty with Zooey Deschanel and Nicole Richie

Zooey Deschanel was by far and away my favourite overall look from this year's Golden Globes. From her retro hair to the tips of her tuxedo nails and her I-want-that custom made Prada dress (seriously how lucky?), Zooey looked beautiful.

Her nails were just the perfect finish to her look. And Zooey's retro hair was a different look for the normally kooky clad actress, gleaming, shiny with a freshly cut fringe, it was perfect.

Also deserving a special mention was the bad girl turned glam girl, Nicole Richie. With sections pinned up, her hair  was a glamorous twist to the humble ponytail and was courtesy of hairstylist Andy LeCompte. This is definitely a look I want to try at home.
