Models dance to Pitbull tune in new Lanvin advert
New Lanvin Ad
Supermodels Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmermann ditch the pouting for some awesome dance moves in the new ad campaign for Lanvin. They bust some shapes to 'I Know You Want Me' by Pitbull. The clothes look amazing and I've never seen dancers with hair as glossy or bouncy. And Lanvin's Alber Elbaz even makes at appearance right at the end.
Look magnficent in magenta like Freida
Marvellous Magenta colour trend
Fashion spotters will have noticed that there's been a surge in magenta dress spotted on A-Listers. In recent weeks Kate Moss (on the September cover of Vogue no less), Heidi Klum on Project Runway and Freida Pinto have all been snapped wearing this rich hue so copy these celebs and look marvellous in magenta with this great dresses. Copy Cameron Diaz circa 2007 or The Help actress Jessica Chastain and pair with turquoise jewellery.
Anne Hathaway Oscars fashion
Anne Hathaway's Oscar's Fashion
Anne Hathaway worked her way through the fashion alphabet. From Armani to Versace and a few in between, she wore eight different dresses to host the 2011 Oscars. She used her usual stylist, the world renowned Rachel Zoe, for the event, who was reportedly charging an astronomical fee. So was it worth? Let's have a look.
Leopard Print
Leopard Print Fall 2010 fashion trend
Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Mulberry were just some of the fashion houses to show leopard print at their fall collections. From the traditional print to different colours and designs, this is one trend that'll leave you looking fabulous this fall.
Blunt fringes for fall 2010
Blunt fringe trend for fall 2010
Update your hair this fall with a new style. One of the most effective ways to change your look is to add in bangs, what we call in the UK, a fringe. Models at Lanvin trotted out wearing a super dark, blunt version.
Shop Chloe Sevigny celebrity style
Steal Chloe Sevigny's leopard print celebrity style
High fashion favourite and all-round kooky actress Chloe Sevigny shows how to do leopard print and look classy not trashy. The Big Love star wowed at the HBO Emmys after party in a leopard print mini dress from Lanvin's Pre Fall 2010 collection. Chloe's paired it with Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly booties - a celeb fav as seen on Emma Watson and Zoe Saldana.
Scarlett Johansson in Giorgio Armani and Jennifer Lopez in Lanvin
The Scarlett Lady
Scarlett Johansson looked like a goddess on the red carpet on Monday night, showing why she bagged hottie Ryan Reynolds. She wore Giorgio Armani to the LA premiere of new film, Iron Man 2. We’ve seen this fabric before in dresses worn by Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Amanda Seyfried both at this year’s Oscars. But that doesn’t make it passé. We’re delighted to see Scarlett ditching the soft, feminine, florals she’s favoured recently for something altogether more alluring. Her hair and makeup are simply divine, look at her skin. Talk about a goddess-like glow.
Jennifer Lopez in Lanvin Halle Berry in Gucci
Hot Mamas
It’s been stiff competition between couture clad lovelies this week. But our winning look was from Ms Jennifer Lopez. The mum-of-two donned this stunning sequined Lanvin gown to chat on Live with Regis and Kelly about her upcoming film, The Back-up Plan.
We love the duck-egg blue shoes and the black bow she's added. Suffice to say, the block has been well and truly left behind J-Lo, talk about looking luxurious. And after a shaky few months on the red carpet, we're glad to see Jennifer back to looking like her usual red-hot red carpet self.
Hair buns
Yummy Bun-ny
The tight style ballerina bun was spotted on the uber-trendy Kate Bosworth back in February at the Chanel Rouge Coco dinner seen on the left. This style is a variation on the messy bun style seen on the right at Lanvin, one of the top shows of the spring summer 10 season.
In both styles, hair is super high, piled onto the crown. But where Kate’s tightly pulled and held, the look at Lanvin was more windswept. Either are a fashionable look so take your pick.
Zoe Saldana at Death at a Funeral premiere
Custom-made cool
You know you’ve made it when a fashion house like Lanvin custom-makes a dress for you. Receiving an A+ this week is Zoe Saldana at the LA premiere of Death at a Funeral who looks absolutely stunning in an orange, draped dress. It’s a blend of different dresses from Lanvin’s spring summer 10 show which had fashion editors foaming at the mouths with excitement and received rave reviews.
Zoe pairs her look with gold Christian Louboutin Titi python pumps and a Christian Louboutin leopard clutch. And doesn’t she look grrr-eat (sorry folks, couldn’t resist).
