Beauty blog investigates Espa new look Lift Firm collection

ESPA's new look and new collection

Look who's got a facelift? It's only one of our favourite beauty brands, ESPA. And since the wonders of the internet do not stretch to hearing readers, sadly, we can only imagine the collective oohing and aahing over these new fancy looking products. The chic colour scheme remains the same but a swirling new ESPA logo has been added (we think it's called abstract dahlings).

ESPA Tone and Firm Concentrate

ESPA Tone and Firm Concentrate
What does it promise to do?:

Providing an instant boost to firm and restructure skin lacking in elasticity and firmness. A combination of antioxidant vitamins E and A provide protection from damaging free radicals whilst botanical extracts of mulberry, grapefruit and meadowsweet help to even the skin tone and give radiance.

Do we like?:

Everyone should invest in a serum or concentrate and this ESPA product is certainly at top end thanks to price tag. Is it worth £95.00? Yes and no. Skin is left soft, smooth and people remarked on radiance. But any change to firmness of skin wasn't noticeable. Perhaps an investment buy.

ESPA Refining Skin Polish

ESPA Refining Skin Polish
What does it promise to do?:

A gentle cream exfoliator which clarifies, refines and helps renew tired, dull complexions. This luxurious cream is formulated with nutrient rich plankton, fossilised earth and hop extracts. The powerful, yet softly exfoliating action of the rounded fossilised earth particles reveals smoother, more refined skin which is then ready to absorb the plankton's immensely rich concentration of nutrients.

Do we like?:

This is a super soft exfoliator. Fossilised Earth particles make up the exfoliating particles and these are softer and smaller than similar products. But the result is the same. Skin is left smoother and softer after use. And key ingredient Plankton Extract brightens skin.

Rich in plant extracts and essentials oils of neroli, frankincense, patchouli and cell regenerating ginkgo biloba. This complex improves texture and tonicity, helps to reduce puffiness, dark circles, fine lines and the appearance of wrinkles.

Do we like?:

Despite ESPA's cream/gel description, this is a cream in our opinion. Soaks in quickly. Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Great for giving delicate eye area moiturise without being too greasy.

Do we like?:

This cream leaves skin super soft. It's fairly rich but probably suited to medium skin rather than dry as didn't hydrate our skin as much as similar products. Soaks in quickly and leaves skin smelling gorgeous
