As funky-sound brands go, Black Chicken Remedies has got to be one of my favourites. The name comes from the legend of wise old ladies who knew how to heal with natural oils and home-grown goodness. Those ladies bizarrely got the title, Black Chickens.
Now an Australian skincare range has picked up where these wise old crones left off, using essential oils to create two super products. And so what better name for the brand than Black Chicken.

Love this product. Its scent is strong and vaguely floral, but not over-powering and doesn't stay on skin so doesn't interfere with perfume. The consistency is really oily so not suited to all skin types. It soaks into skin relatively quickly, though not as fast as less luxurious body lotions. Skin felt hydrated day long.
