Elemis Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow

Elemis Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow
What does it promise to do?:

Invigorating Ginger stimulates the metabolism and tones the body, while Lime Peel works to energise, cleanse and purify the skin. Unrefined Sea Salt is uniquely blended with Kukui, Camellia and Jojoba oils to exfoliate and remineralise skin, helping it regain its natural moisture balance and silky softness.

Do we like?:

This is a real luxury product - not only signalled by the price. We love the glass jar packaging it comes in. And the smell, WOW. Grains are medium rather than fine so your skin does feel noticeably softer and treated after use. But it does leave a layer of oily moisture on skin after use, which is helps to keep skin moisturised but not so good if your skin is prone to breakouts. Better for more mature or dry skin.

Smells fantastic, it's a clean scent but it isn't overpowering. Doesn't leave skin greasy like some body butters but really touchably soft and velvet-like. And this effect last for days with skin staying moisturised and not a hint a dryness. Brilliant value for money.

Philosophy Rasberries and Cream Shampoo, shower gel & bubble bath

Philosophy Rasberries and Cream Shampoo, shower gel & bubble bath
What does it promise to do?:

Begin each day in a state of sweet harmony. Sweet and creamy scents blend in raspberries and cream shampoo, shower gel & bubble bath.

Do we like?:

This is a great summer shower gel, with an amazing raspberry smell which stays on skin after rinsing. As a bubble bath it's great with lots of bubbles and foam to relax in. And it's an ok shampoo, not one to use to look after colour treated hair but then it doesn't claim to. If you've only got space in your luggage for one product then pack this this summer.

Champneys' Citrus Glow Body Butter

Champneys' Citrus Glow Body Butter

A vitamin-rich moisturising blend of four butters; shea, olive, cocoa and mango. This moisturiser is specially formulated to protect and condition the skin against environmental damage. Essential oils of eucalyptus, may chang and cardamom oil stimulate the senses and leave the skin sweetly fragranced.

Do we like?:

It's rich, creamy yet not too thick that it takes ages to soak into skin. Super-hydrating, skin is soft after use. Smell is very unusual - spicey yet sweet. Good change from all the fruity body butters. Could be better on long-term hydration as skin showed dryness after few days.
