Diesel's new fragrance - LOVERDOSE
Diesel's new fragrance - LOVERDOSE
Talk about weighty advertorial claims, the new perfume by Diesel reckons it can make men fall in love with you. Wow. No wonder it's called LOVERDOSE (yes, in captials).
Calvin Klein Beauty perfume review
The feminine, sophisticated fragrance opens with top notes of Ambrette Seeds, middle notes of Jasmine and dries down to base notes of Cedarwood.
This is a light, floral fragrance, feminine yet sophisticated. It doesn't overpower or overwhelm. It lasts on skin for several hours and it's perfect for spring.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Wild Elixir Fragrance
From the vibrant top notes, to the rich floral middle notes, to the dramatic yet smooth end notes, the feeling is vibrant, luminous and irrepressibly alive.
Spring - lighter, brighter, longer days, a gentle thaw from winter's chill so align your fragrance with the changing season. And Estee Lauder's newly launched Wild Elixir fragrance is the perfect choice.
This tester isn't a fan of floral fragrances but this one broke the mould. It's feminine and floral yet still sophisticated. It doesn't overpower but stays put for hours. And while the floral fragrances including freesia and gardenia pack a full-on flower power explosion, this is balanced out by the likes of amberwood and sandalwood which give it depth. This truly smells amazing - the perfect spring-time scent.

Elemis Eau De Parfum Exotic
A beautiful, mysterious accord of sensual exotic blends including Spicy Pink Pepper, Clove Bud, Ylang Ylang and Sandalwood.
This is the second fragrance from Elemis - read our review of their first one here. Where the original scent was fresh this one is musky and richer. But the spicy tones seem to drown out the other scents so whilst it a good fragrance, it's not as good as the first one.

Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia
The essence of Autumn, English Pear & Freesia is an evocative fragrance that captures the scent of just-ripe pears, cooled by the air, ready to twist free from the tree. The surprising, sensuous freshness of sweet pears is wrapped in a bouquet of white freesias, on a subtle background of scrambling wild roses and skin-warming amber, patchouli and woods.
This is a truly gorgeous fragrance and Jo Malone is right - it's perfect for autumn. The scent of the pears is crisp and fresh, combining so well with the subtle floral smells. This is the only perfume in which pears is the dominant scent. But, it just does not last on skin. And the fact it's such a gorgeous tantilising smell you want it to last so it makes it all the more disappointing.

Kate Moss Wild Meadow
This fragrance was inspired by the beauty of the English landscape at sunrise, specifically the Cotswolds.Wild Meadow was developed by perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu; the notes feature bergamot, pink grapefruit, peach, rose, magnolia, honeysuckle, apple blossom, benzoin and amber.
A lovely fragrance to add to Ms Moss' collection. It's got a freshness to it that's like leaves and fruit - possibly from the grapefruit. Yet it's also like a meadow with floral scents noticeable but not dominate. Great and affordable.

Guerlain Idylle
The fragrance swathes itself in the skin scents of feather-light musks, while the chypre accord is embraced by an ylang-ylang more delicate than the breath of a kiss.
This is an interesting fragrance. It floral yet rich and musky. Released in 2009, roses are at its core with Bulgarian roses blended with Plessis Robinson roses. Lily-of-the-valley, lilac, peony, freesia and jasmine are also included. It's full-on femininity, lovely yet rich thanks to white musk.

SJP NYC
A deliciously addictive and sophisticated fruity floral fragrance built around a vivacious wild strawberry accord, lush gardenia and creamy, sensual undertones.
Strawberries are the dominant scent here but not at all over-powering. The ingredients would suggest it to be full-on but this fragrance is very subtle. Only downside is it just doesn't last on skin long enough.
