When Katy Perry stepped out at Paris Fashion Week in what looked to me like a giant pair of granny pants I thought her divorce from Russell Brand had obviously got to her and the poor girl had forgotten to put on her skirt. But I was mistaken (no surprise) because, in case you didn’t know Nifty peeps, this is fashion.

The singer posted the snap, pictured left, on Facebook, looking very Cleopatra, with heavy eyeliner and blunt fringe and wearing the outfit from the single's video.
