Spot the Lace Little Black Dress trend

First we had the little black dress, now we have the LACE little black dress and it's sparked a celebrity style trend. The Duchess of Cambridge, the girl who used to be Kate Middleton, kicked off the lace black dress look when she wore a Temperley designed black lace dress to the Warhorse premiere just a few weeks ago. Now Madonna has got in on the action sporting a lace cape at the premiere of new film, W.E. Angelina Jolie looked like she was channelling her inner Kate Middleton or was doing a repli-KATE when she wore a black lace dress to the Producers Guild Awards. And not to be left out, Salma Hayek was showing off her talents in a stunning lace dress at the Prada party in Paris.

It's regularly said that little black dresses never go out of style so it's good to see a variation on this look and I've got to say Angelina Jolie in Michael Kors was my favourite, and for me it's proof that even celebrities like to steal someone else's style.
