New Moisturisers

My skin has taken a pounding recently thanks to changing temperatures, central heating and the odd glass or two of fermented fluids so, thank heavens for a raft of new and fabulous moisturisers all helping to get radiant and replenished skin.

Out in January, Clinique's Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator is a cream-gel formula with some great results. After just three days of use, clinical tests show that skin’s moisture barrier is dramatically strengthened and improved. And in just 8 weeks skin’s moisture is increased by over 40%, definitely one worth checking out.

Jo Malone's Vitamin E Moisturising Day Crème SPF15 is lightweight, hydrating cream, enhanced with rosemary leaf and grape seed extract to combat free radical damage. The UVB and UVA (SPF15) protection also helps shield skin from the harmful effects of UV rays.  apply each morning to help protect against the first signs of ageing. £50 buy from Jo Malone shops nationwide.

Uneven skin tone? Try L'Oreal's new Youth Code Luminize day Cream. It treats the skin to reduce dark spots and redness whilst illuminating the skin’s surface. It brightens dull, tired looking skin for a perfectly even skin tone. Out now, £14.99.

Similarly Darphin is another brand dangling the 'radiant skin' carrot with the new Ideal Resource Smoothing Retexturizing Radiance Cream - defintely a mouthful of a name. A trio of top notch ingredients work to improve skin's texture and wrinkles,  £50 available from Darphin stockists or clll 0870 034 2566 for info.

A quarter of women suffer from enlarged pores so if you're one of them, try Nivea Visage Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Pore Refining Day Cream. If you want to minimise pores and battle ageing then this new cream is for you, plus there's a built in SPF 15. £11.08, available nationwide.
