Is Katy Perry the busiest lady in showbusiness? She doesn't seem to stop. Here's the first snap of her upcoming single, E.T.

The singer posted the snap, pictured left, on Facebook, looking very Cleopatra, with heavy eyeliner and blunt fringe and wearing the outfit from the single's video.

On the post she said: "Here's a sneak peek of the artwork for 'E.T.,' the next single off 'Teenage Dream'! Stay tuned for a new music video and remixes coming soon."

But it's not the only project, Mrs Russell Brand has been working on. A new picture of her guest slot on hit show, How I Met Your Mother, has just been released. In it,  Katy plays Honey, the naive, beautiful cousin of Zoey, played by Jennifer Morrison. And in the snap, pictured left, looks like Honey is getting up close with the show's serial womaniser, Barney played by Neil Patrick Harris. This episode will air in the US, February 7 on CBS.

And if that weren't enough, keep a look out for KP and Neil Patrick Harris together in new version of the Smurfs, out  in August.
