Smelling like your favourite celeb has never been easier. Beyoncé, Britney even Jennifer Aniston have all tapped into the lucrative fragrance market. Now it's the turn of Teenage Dream singer Katy Perry. She's releasing her new perfume in November and the advert for the new fragrance called Purr by Katy Perry has just been revealed. It features KP in a latex catsuit - her preferred fabric of choice it seems these days - and a tail.

But Katy promises she isn't jumping on the perfume-how-to-make-a-buck bandwagon. Oh no. Speaking to fashion industry bible, WWD, she said: "There are amazing fragrances backed by other celebrities, but what I'm bringing is not like any other."
"It wasn't just like, 'I love gardenias.' That would have been the easy route. I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I'd smelled before and not one that smelled like a knockoff of another scent. I'd never want to do anything 'just because'..."

Yeah, Katy, that's right. But you know what would be a scent unlike anything we've smelt before? Cat litter. Fortunately Katy hasn't fully followed her cat marketing: Purr contains aromas of peach, apple and bamboo and comes in a cat-shaped bottle with jeweled eyes.
