Taylor Momsen's changing style

Gossip Girl actress and chart-topping hopeful, Taylor Momsen strutted her stuff at this year's V Festival at the weekend. She was performing with her band, The Pretty Reckless. Course, 17-year-old Taylor was dressed in her now ubiquitous uniform of underwear, a collection of suspenders, corset, cruixfixes and super heavy black eyeliner. 

And as we watched the platinum haired singer perform - to use Carrie Bradshaw's favourite saying - we couldn't help but wonder, what has happened to Taylor. Was this really the same cutie pie from The Grinch? Shuffling through photos, we'd forgotten how pretty she is behind that crayon she now uses as eye makeup.

It seems like 2009 was a crucial year in her fashion development, the makeup gets heavier, hair is more bleached and colour is gone from clothing. Perhaps she'll be this generation's Angelina Jolie, her real beauty hidden for the time being behind dramatic gothic style?
