Celebrity Looks We Love 2011 BAFTAS v The Grammys
Film stars take on some of the hottest names in music in this ultimate fashion face-off. Check out the trends which made it to both and who wore it best in The BAFTAS v The Grammys Looks We Love special.
Ruffles - check out Harry Potter's Emma Watson at the BAFTAS in Valentino Couture v Rihanna's barely there dress by Jean Paul Gaultier at the Grammys. Different versions of the ruffle trend but which do you prefer? Emma's gown is gorgeous but she looks so miserable we're picking Rihanna.
Embellished - she may only 14, but True Grit star Haillie Steinfeld wore this gorgeous embellished Miu Miu number to the BAFTAS. Jennifer Lopez also wore the embellished trend with a silver long sleeved Emilio Pucci dress at the Grammys. We prefer Haillie's red carpet fashion here - it's fresh and new.
Gold - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo actress Noomi Rapace is one of our best-dressed in gold Givenchy. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian also plumped for the colour at the Grammys in a shimmering Kaufman Franco gown. While Kim looks gorgeous, we prefer Noomi's dress.
Red-heads - ok, it's not exactly a trend, although thanks ot Rihanna, red hair dye purchases have shot up. But two red heads shone at two different events. Amy Adams glowed in coral Ellie Saab. But Nicole Kidman was our best-dressed red-head at the Grammys in a strapless floral gown by Jean Paul Gaultier - and one of our fav celebrity looks overall.
One-shouldered - We loved this one-shouldered two toned Lanvin gown on the runway yet on Emma Stone at the BAFTAS it lost its wow factor. Kelly Osbourne, who also wore a one-shouldered dress, looked beautiful at the Grammys. She wore a lavender crinkled silk chiffon hand cut floral one shoulder dress by Tadashi Shoji - definitely this trend's winner.
