Best Dresses Golden Globes 2012

Awards season kicked off with the 2012 Golden Globes. Angelina Jolie opted for Atelier Versace dress and seemed to impress fashion fans although I thought the dress looked too tight. And speaking of tight, Salma Hayek was literally bursting out of her Gucci dress. Tad tight on the top half but the dress itself was gorgeous and her ombre-esque hair was beautiful.

RED -Every colour of the rainbow was represented on the red carpet and Reese Witherspoon in vibrant red strapless dress was one of my favourites, especially loved the hair. Only criticism was it looked too long on her and could do with being taken up.

BLUE - If there was a perfect body, Sofia Vergara was it last night. The Modern Family actress looked S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G in strapless blue dress by Vera Wang. And it's refreshing to see Sofia take the less is more approach with half the amount of jewellery she normally wears.

GREEN - Madonna and actress Andrea Riseborough walked the red carpet as if joined at the hip but that fine because their green dresses by Reem Acra and Vivienne Westwood respectively co-ordinated perfectly - wonder if they discussed beforehand.

YELLOW - when it comes to sweet ladylike style,  Emily Blunt is always a favourite of mine so it was fab to see her in a burst of colour. She was snapped presenting an award wearing a beautifully beaded yellow dress by the wonderful Elie Saab.

PINK - Heidi Klum paired down her usual look in elegant Calvin Klein although she added a splash of colour with a turquoise necklace. Simple and laid-back , this is the best I've seen her look in ages.
