Celebrity Looks From 2011 Golden Globes

Sequins, sparkle, colour and sleeves, see the top trends at this year's Golden Globes red carpet:

Lighting up the Golden Globes red carpet fashion were Olivia Wilde, Scarlet Johannson and Sandra Bullock who all wore sparkly, sequinned gowns. House star Olivia was a knock-out in Marchesa. Single life seems to suit Scarlett who went elegant in Elie Saab. And Sandra Bullock wore one of our favourite new season Jenny Packham dresses, pairing it a new blunt fringe.

Style-wise, long sleeves were a favourite on the night. Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester looked feminine in an oyster coloured long-sleeved gown by Burberry Prorsum. Whereas Anne Hathaway wore an amazing amber toned paillettes and Swarovksi crystal embellished dress by Armani Prive, another of our favourite looks from this evening.

Looking pretty in pink were award-winner Natalie Portman and Glee's Lea Michele. Natalie looked blooming in a strapless Viktor & Rolf gown. And Lea looked girlie in Oscar de la Renta. Even Blighty's own Cat Deeley got in on this trend, looking amazing in pink mini dress.

Green was the top colour on the evening. Catherine Zeta Jones looked regal in Monique Lhuiller. We weren't keen on the style of Angelina Jolie's Atelier Versace dress - too Dynasty for us - but colour was lovely. But we adored the one shouldered Vera Wang dress worn by Mila Kunis.

Going for the block colour trend were Amy Adams and Selena Gomez. Amy looked beautiful in blue Marchesa. And Selena wore an orange Catherine Deane dress.

And no red carpet would be complete without the classic black dress. Two stars spotted in this look were Kim Kardashian and Desperate Houswives Eva Longoria. Kim plumped for an elegant strapless dress by Nina Ricci. Whereas Eva wore a dramatic Zac Posen dress.
