Celebrity Looks from the 62nd Emmy Awards

One shouldered gowns, dark shades and sequins all ruled the red carpet dresses at the 62nd Emmys, which took place Sunday 29 August in LA. Top TV stars trotted out their finery with the likes of Claire Danes, Lea Michele and Mad Men stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks all donning some serious bling and couture. Check them out.

Glee star Dianna Agron looked like a lady in a lace strapless dress by Carolina Herrera.

30 Rock actress Jane Krakowski looked so chic in a stunning one-shouldered midnight blue dress by Escada.

Also opting for dark blue was Glee's Lea Michele. The actresss - who was also celebrating her 24th birthday - wore a strapless Oscar de la Renta dress and finishedi off the look perfectly wearing her hair loose.

Claire Danes was one of the stars who opted for sequins. The actress, who won a gong for her role in Temple Grandin, truly shone. She wore a stunning Armani Privé gown encrusted with Swarovski drop crystals and iridescent sequin beading.

Dexter actress Jennifer Carpenter also glittered on the red carpet. We love this gunmetal sequinned one shouldered dress.

And access Hollywood correspondent Maria Menounos also shimmered in a stunning Ralph & Russo custom gown with cut-away detail.

Kelly Osbourne showed off her super slim figure in a blakc mermaid style dress by Tony Ward.

And the Mad Men stars didn't disappoint. Elisabeth Moss, who plays Peggy, was our favourite look of the trio in a one shouldered Donna Karan gown. January Jones made sure Betty Draper was forgetten in a high fashion electric blue Atelier Versace gown. And Christina Hendricks wore lavender Zac Posen.
