Steal Kate Middleton's celebrity style

Dress like a princess-in-waiting because in this edition of Shop Her Style, we're copying Kate Middleton's style from her last public engagement before her marriage to Prince William. For it, she wore a navy suit from Amanda Wakeley's 2007 collection. As always, she looks beautiful but her choice of footwear is a tad sensible.

Chunky heels are perfect for a princess' public visits, particularly when walking on grass - they avoid any of those awkward stilettos stuck in the ground moments. However, these shoes by British ladies clothing brand, LK Bennett are too old for Kate. And the Amanda Wakeley suit is beautiful, but a dress would have been a more sophisticated option, dispensing with the need for a top under the jacket which is visible on Kate's look.

So we've put three alternatives to Kate's look, keeping the chunky heel but we've chosen more youthful designs. We've also added in some colour with this beautiful floral Etro jacket.
